Good morning Voleja! I am back in the States and am beginning to settle in a bit. Sorry it has taken a while to get back to you.

First off let me say that this was definitely the best trip our group has ever done. The region, culture, food, wine and most of all, the people of Dalmatia were beautiful. The hospitality shown to us was unrivaled to any place we’ve ever been. We were not treated as just tourists but more like a welcome guest. We are very grateful for this.

On to the accommodations.  Both Villas were spectacular and fit our needs wonderfully well. Their locations, beautiful ocean views, proximity to restaurants and markets and to the City of Dubrovnik and the Town of Hvar were ideal for our group. Joszefine at Villa Luce and Igor at Villa Summerwind were the perfect hosts. Both were most helpful and attentive to our needs. Special thanks to Igor Spiljac at Villa Summerwind who prepared two spectacular meals for us while on Hvar. His culinary skills and knowledge of Croatian wines further enhanced our visit to your wonderful country!

I have a couple of very minor suggestions and comments that may be worth your consideration:

Villa Luce in Dubrovnik:   A heated pool would have been nice at the Villa, The water was a bit chilly for us old peopleJ

Villa Summerwind:  I would have liked to see the kitchen appointed a bit better with sharper knives, chopping boards, pots and pans etc. We like to prepare food and cook ourselves a bit while travelling and so it would have been nice to have more tools in the kitchen.

Once again Voleja, we had a wonderful experience while in Croatia. It was a pleasure working with you during the entire planning process. You made it very easy for me to book the right accommodations for our group. I would recommend Secret Dalmatia  to anyone contemplating a visit to Croatia.
